Using the site

These tools are provided for personal and commercial use, free of charge. You may use the results in your own work, documents and systems without attribution and without asking permission.

You may not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people, or present it as your own product. You may not frame the pages inside another site in a way that misrepresents who operates them.

No warranty

The calculators are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that they are free of errors, that they will be available without interruption, or that any particular result is correct for your purpose.

Calendar and time zone calculations depend on your device clock and on your browser’s copy of the IANA time zone database. If either is wrong or out of date, results will be wrong, and that is outside our control.

Limits of the results

Time zone data for the distant past is a reconstruction rather than a record, and time zone rules for the future cannot be known because governments change them without notice. Dates before the introduction of the Gregorian calendar are calculated using the proleptic Gregorian calendar, which is a software convention and may not match the calendar in use at the time. Leap seconds are ignored.

Nothing on this site is legal, financial, medical or professional advice. A calculated age, deadline or duration is a figure to check, not a decision to rely on — particularly where a legal deadline, a contract or a statutory requirement depends on it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from reliance on any result it produces, including missed deadlines, incorrect filings, or losses arising from an inaccurate conversion.

Intellectual property

The design, text and code of this site belong to DateTimeTools. The results you generate with the calculators are yours and carry no claim from us.

Advertising

The site displays advertising to fund itself. Adverts are supplied by third-party networks, and we do not control which specific adverts appear. Their content is not an endorsement.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version published on this page is the version that applies, and the date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
